There’s a lot going on at the Hearst Plaza in Lincoln Center. In the center of the plaza is the Paul Milstein Pool and Terrace, anchored by Henry Moore’s Reclining Figure. Looking north from the pool is the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Lawn, although I must say the grass was MUCH more verdant when the lawn was first unveiled to the public. I was living in the neighborhood then and bounded up the slope to enjoy a little patch of green in the middle of Lincoln Center. Underneath the Lawn is the Lincoln Ristorante, an Italian restaurant that I have not had the good fortune—I mean, I literally don’t have the fortune—to try.
