NYC actually has quite a few urban oases (some of which I’m just going to keep to myself 😜), and Té Company is one of them that I go to when I’m in the neighborhood. It’s a tranquil tea house on a nonchalant Greenwich Village street with high quality oolong tea from Taiwan and—this is VERY important—delicious pastries to go with the tea.
