City Island is an extremely walkable little island. We caught a bus near the end of the 6 line and took it all the way to the southern end of the island. From there we began our walking journey back north on City Island Avenue. We meandered into side streets, many of which lead to private beaches and marinas.

On one of these little forays we saw a marina with beautiful boats in the distance and a big “End” sign.
