I consider the areas east of Bowery and south of Canal the REAL NYC Chinatown because Canal Street is now basically just a tourist trap. The residents of Chinatown do their shopping, eating, and hanging out on streets like East Broadway and Division, and you get a really cool view of it from the Manhattan Bridge incline.
