Buvette is one of the most romantic and charming restaurants tucked away on a small street in the West Village. A French-inspired “gastrothèque,” everything at this restaurant is delicious. If you want to go there for weekend brunch, though, you either have to wake up REALLY early (it opens at 7am!) or be prepared to wait for a long time.
I was really enjoying my company and food that I didn’t take out my camera once during the meal although there are definitely plenty of charming corners and details. As I waited in line for the bathroom downstairs, I saw that they had a cute little cellar for their wonderful selection of wines and baskets of apples and oranges. I finally took the one and only photo of the restaurant, and the charm of the place came through even in the dimly lit basement.
