Brigadeiro Bakery is a little gem in Soho that sells fresh cakes, cookies, pies and, as their name suggests, brigadeiros. The brigadeiro is a beloved Brazilian dessert made of sweet condensed milk, chocolate powder, eggs and butter. They are hand rolled and then dusted with chocolate sprinkles.

The interior of this tiny shop is super cute and bright. I especially love the playful motley of black and white blacksplash tiles and the pastel green pendant lamps. As for the confections themselves, I only tried the brigadeiros, and they were a little too sweet and dense for my taste. I probably went in with the wrong expectations, though, so I should give it another shot soon.
