Guggenheim on an early Saturday Evening

Guggenheim on an early Saturday Evening

The Guggenheim is a beloved NYC treasure of a museum designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright who I think was kind of a big douche. I remember watching the Ken Burns documentary about him in art school, and he basically was one of those “crazy geniuses” that our culture seems to worship. Still, there is no denying that the Guggenheim is a unique space that offers an interesting way to view and exhibit art with its winding ramp gallery.

I took this picture on a Saturday evening, when visitors could pay whatever they desired to enter the museum. Needless to say, the line was epic and wound all the way around the block to Madison Ave.
